On Tuesday, Representative Madison Cawthorn told a crowd of conservative constituents that college is a “scam” and that they should drop out.
Cawthorn, the youngest member of the United States Congress, is 26 years old. During a panel discussion at AmericaFest, a conservative nonprofit’s ongoing convention in Phoenix, Arizona, representative, made the remarks. There were a lot of college students in the audience at the panel discussion.
The North Carolina Republican used his own homeschooling experience to justify his remarks.
“I believe that you should educate your children at home.” I received all of my education at home. Cawthorn declared, “I am proud to be a college dropout.”
Unless they were pursuing а cаreer in one of а few specific professions, he encourаged students to drop out of college.
