On Wednesday, Jake Fischer of BR reported that the Hawks might be interested in trading for Dejounte Murray from the Spurs, but sources familiar with the matter said San Antonio is seeking an enormous return for their star guard.
After discussing a $90 million deal with the Hawks in the offseason, Collins was unable to reach an agreement. The former Wake Forest standout was expected to be traded at the trade deadline, but that also didn’t happen.
In 2020–21, Collins shot 37% from deep, averaging 16.2 points and 7.8 rebounds. No one is really safe because the Hawks are basically willing to move anyone who isn’t Trae Young or De’Andre Hunter. Collins, who can shoot it and defend at a high level, should not face a lack of interest. Potential suitors include the Suns, Kings, and Blazers.
By the time the NBA Drаft on the Eаst Coаst аt the Bаrclаys Center is over, it wouldn’t be а surprise to see him weаring аnother uniform. Who might thаt be? To find out, we must wаit.
