When it was revealed that Pete Carroll had COVID-19, longtime Seattle Seahawks supporters were in for a shock. Carroll, who is currently 70 years old, is one of the league’s older coaches. That is why following that announcement, many fans were concerned for the coach.
Carroll has thankfully returned and is already in charge of the Seahawks’ training camp. Pete Carroll responded that he was fortunate not to experience any severe symptoms of the risky virus when questioned about his experience with COVID. Next season marks the start of a new era for the Seahawks. The team traded their star quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos following a disappointing 2021 season. Although they decided to keep DK Metcalf instead of trading him, that trade indicated that this roster would need to be rebuilt. Carroll will now be in charge of a team that has a good chance of winning the lottery.
