One of the top Premier League teams is Liverpool. As the summer comes to an end, they are eager to begin their regular season. Jurgen Klopp is aware that they cannot assume anything against Fulham, though.
According to si.com, Klopp was frank about Liverpool playing Fulham before the game.

This is Liverpool and Fulham’s first match of the year. The only Premier League game played before this one saw Arsenal defeat Crystal Palace. Liverpool is always held to a high standard. They have faith in Jurgen Klopp to guide them to yet another prosperous campaign.
For Liverpool, Darwin Nunez did not begin the game. According to msn.com, Klopp gave an explanation for his choice not to start Nunez before the game.
“We need to shake things up a bit, and Darwin needs some time to settle. The baller Bobby (Firmino) is. The two other boys are swift. It’s all about variety, so we decided Bobby would be a good place to start today.
That dоesn’t mean Darwin Nunez can’t check in at a later pоint in the game. He might wind up being very impоrtant in this match.
