After defeating the Golden State Warriors 119-109 in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, the Dallas Mavericks will live to fight another day. After the final buzzer, Mavs star Luka Doncic was seen exchanging words with Klay Thompson as the two teams made their way to the locker room.
Luka Doncic stole the ball from Warriors rookie Moses Moody just before the game ended, and the Mavs superstar chose to stare down the Dubs rookie after his defensive stop. Thompson, who did not seem to appreciate Luka’s antics, decided to express his displeasure:
It’s unclear what was said between the two, but it didn’t appear that they were being friendly. Thompson appears to have called out the Mavs star for his unsportsmanlike behavior toward Moody. Klay was only too happy to protect his rookie, and he wasn’t afraid to share his less-than-flattering thoughts with Luka.
The two went their sepаrаte wаys in the end, аnd the incident did not escаlаte. However, Doncic hаs been quite tenаcious throughout this series, аnd the Wаrriors hаve responded in kind.
