Eriksen raised his hand as he was carried from the ground on a stretcher, and the stadium announcer subsequently told the audience that he had been transported to the nearby Rigshospitalet, according to a Reuters photographer at the game.
The 29-year-old was “awake and at Rigshospitalet for additional testing,” according to the Danish DBU football organisation.
The audience erupted in applause when it was announced that Eriksen had been brought to the hospital. At 1945 CET, a decision on whether or not to continue the game will be made.
