However, injuries ended up ruining their season. However, this is a team that can have an impact in 2022–2023. Even the rapper Lil Durk predicted they would win this year’s Finals! But in all seriousness, Nikola Vucevic, a big man, is a crucial component of Chicago’s puzzle.
And according to the Chicago Sun Times, there might be an extension in the works.
Early in the previous season, Vucevic was the subject of trade rumors. The big man even acknowledged that he had defensive issues in 2021–2022. He continued to play for the team, though, and a source told the Chicago Sun Times that a contract extension might be on the table.
