When Josh Allen arrived at Highmark Stadium on Friday, the Buffalo Bills’ supporters went wild. Well, who wouldn’t be thrilled, especially after he emerged from the tunnel wearing a red Bills helmet?
The Bills QB certainly know how to entertain the crowd and get the rest of the world talking.

Of course, after seeing Josh Allen wear the red helmet, everyone is wondering if the Bills will use it as their alternate helmet in 2022. For those who are unaware, the NFL has implemented a new rule allowing teams to wear an alternate helmet with throwback or Color Rush uniforms during the upcoming season.
Sadly for Bills supporters, Allen deceived everyone and only raised their expectations. For 2022, the team won’t wear the vintage red helmets, and it doesn’t appear that anything will change soon.
The Bills’ social media team posted: “Disclaimer: Josh Allen tricked everyone (including the social media admin) and we’re sticking with the white helmets this season.”Twitter.
Allen deserves credit for making sure that everyone in the stadium had a good time despite his deception, though. In any case, he played the joke in good fun. On Friday after practice, he made sure to make time for the spectators and played catch with them while going around the entire arena.

Althоugh we nоw have nо cоntrоl оver it, it wоuld have been better if the Bills had actually taken advantage оf the оppоrtunity tо annоunce the red helmets alternate. Fans can оnly wait and hоld оut hоpe that they will get a chance tо use the retrо gear in the future fоr the time being.
