Images allegedly depict the moment militants from the pro-Russian Luhansk People’s Republic opened fire on homes in a village they claimed to be “liberating.”
The images and a statement that read: “The liberation of the territory of the LPR is coming to its logical conclusion” were obtained on Thursday from the separatist, so-called Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR).
“The [People’s Militia of the] LPR servicemen of a separate tank battalion are successfully advancing and completing the tasks assigned by the command.
The tank units of the republic “promptly suppress counter-offensive attempts by the nationalist units of Ukraine in all key areas, hold back enemy fire, destroy protected firing points, and provide continuous fire support for the advancing units of the defense department and allied forces”

Thursday marks the 120th day since Russia invaded Ukraine in what the Kremlin is describing as a “special military operation.”
