Eminem is still going strong even though “My Name Is” first appeared in the Billboard Top 100 back in 1999. And more than 20 years after it was first released, one fan has just learned a brand-new detail about the well-known Slim Shady song that has TikTok users “crying.”
User @duplicate.her, real name Adrianne, listens to “My Name is” backwards in a clip posted on May 28.
Adrianne thinks she can hear the rapper say his name when playing the song backwards, as evidenced by the caption “My face after realizing he’s singing ‘It’s Eminem’ when you play it backwards.”
The video, which can be viewed here, has received over 260,000 views and close to 200 comments from viewers who were impressed by the find, including user Daddy Bueno who referred to the musician as “a genius.”
This is the coolest thing ever, agreed Ahiru Luna.
Evie wrote, “Crying,” while Madison-Jade X only wrote, “WHAT.”
