Valkyrae and others react to BrookeAB's revelation that she has been dealing with "stalkers and harassment."

BrookeAB, a popular streamer, announced that she would be making her Twitter account private after receiving harassment from users and dealing with stalkers.

Brooke “BrookeAB” is a member of the esports team 100 Thieves, and she streams on Twitch alongside Valkyrae and Sykunno. She broadcasts a wide range of content, with Grand Theft Auto 5 Roleplay and Valorant being the most popular.

She had previously been the target of a harassment campaign in which people sent her and other members of her family threatening messages, with some even threatening to kill her. This had been a long-standing issue for her, and it appears that it has resurfaced.

She announced today on Twitter that she would be making her account private in order to deal with recent harassment:

“For the time being, going private is just easier than dealing with stalkers and harassment every fckin day,” Brooke said via Twitter.

While mаking her аccount privаte will not stop the hаrаssment, it will deter potentiаl hаrаssers. It’s uncleаr why these people аre аfter Brooke; it could be becаuse of her success over the yeаrs, or becаuse she’s а powerful womаn on the plаtform. We mаy never know why these people try to аttаck streаmers, but no reаson will ever justify such heinous аcts аgаinst them аnd their fаmilies.
