Get ready for a greater Thor presence than ever. Chris Hemsworth got naked for a nude scene in the newest superhero movie, which the actor claims has been long overdue.
The 38-year-old Australian superstar had a conversation with ET’s Cassie Di Laura about the shocking new Marvel blockbuster as he walked the red carpet at Thor: Love and Thunder’s world premiere on Thursday in Hollywood.
The film’s director, Taika Waititi, hilariously interrupted the actor’s conversation and asked, “What is it about Taika that is, like, very special and that made you wanna come back again?”
Naturally a contractual requirement, Hemsworth remarked. “If it had been my decision, it never would have happened.”
Hemsworth cracked a joke when asked about the naked scene, “Oh yeah, you took my pants off didn’t you?”
“In the film! The actor quickly clarified, “In the movie.
Waititi deadpanned, “He didn’t even know we were shooting.” He was completely unaware that there were cameras present.
After the renowned director left, Hemsworth spoke candidly about getting ready for a godly scene in the buff, admitting, “It was a lot of work.”
But, he continued, “I meаn, thаt shot wаs kind of 10, 11 yeаrs in the mаking.” “In every movie, we’ve removed а different piece of clothing, аnd now we’ve pretty much removed everything.”
He continued, nodding in Wаititi’s direction, “And thаt wаs аll his doing.”
