Wagner Ribeiro, the former agent of Neymar, has criticized Barcelona for mismanaging the team’s finances. He asserted that the Blaugrana wasted money on a number of pointless acquisitions, but he also supported Joao Lapota in his efforts to make things better.
Due to the need to raise money and reduce their wage bill, Barcelona is still in a financial crisis. The Spanish powerhouses have contracts with players like Franck Kessie and Andreas Christensen but have yet to register them as free agents.
This week, Ribeiro claimed in an interview with GOAL that Barca had made a number of errors under the leadership of former club president Sandro Rosell. He continued by saying the team made absurd signings and added:
“Sandro Rosell’s poor leadership while club president is where FC Barcelona’s issues started. With their ridiculous signings, they wasted a lot of money. I am confident that Laporta will usher in better times for Barça because I know him.
