Fans can breathe a sigh of relief after being devastated by the cancellation of the Young Money reunion due to Drake contracting covid. The rapper revealed on Thursday that his drug test came back negative, and he will perform at OVO Fest’s Young Money Reunion on August 6 alongside Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
Drake shared the news on Instagram with the caption, “Negative test, positive outcome. This was the only date available until the fall. Because the family is so strong, everyone is flying back in to make it happen for you all. SEE YOU SATURDAY…young moulaaa.”
Drake revealed earlier this week that he has COVID-19 and that this evening’s performance at the October World Weekend has been postponed as a result.
The Canadian MC posted on his Instagram Stories, “I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion show scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the SOONEST date possible.
“When we have a new date set, I’ll let the city know and let them know. The moment I test negative, I will give you everything I have on stage (aside from the Covid),” he continued. “Until then, I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all. I’m sorry for disappointing you on our weekend together.

The rapper frоm “Sticky” ended his message with a sad face emоji.
