Elizondo has been considering fat transfer surgery, also known as a Brazilian butt lift, for some time. She has been incredibly transparent with her fans on social media regarding the decision.
“I’ve always been very public about certain private moments in my life,” Elizondo said on Instagram. “After much thought and discussion with friends and family, I have decided to have a fat transfer, which is essentially a BBL, to fix my problem areas such as hip drop and dents in my butt I feel very insecure with time “.
In September 2020, Elizondo arrived in Florida for her procedure with The Best U Now Plastic Surgery Center. As she documented during her recovery, the surgery was perfect. Elizondo remained in Florida after surgery to recover under the care of medical professionals.

In since deleted social media posts, Elizondo shared the news that she was experiencing complications as a result of her butt surgery. Fortunately, her doctor took care of the problems.
Because Elizondo documented her procedure and recovery on Instagram and tagged the center that completed the surgery, many fans were under the impression that she underwent the surgery for free in exchange for promotions. When Elizondo needed repairs, a Reddit fan felt compelled to share his opinion.
“Her butt was ruined during surgery and she is currently having major complications,” the fan wrote. “That’s why she hasn’t been posting right now and will probably be telling it all soon. Remember kids, if you’re offered free surgery, think twice and pick a reputable doctor.”

Elizondo has since deleted the tweets about her surgery and the most recent tweet that was directed to the Reddit user mentioned above. However, another fan on Reddit captured the tweet in which she called someone who made assumptions about her.
“To the absolute Reddit inbred who says I’m in FL for failed surgery, you’re an idiot * shole,” Elizondo wrote (via Reddit). “I have an infected abscess that needed to be drained, and since my butt is sensitive, the only person qualified to do it is my surgeon. Damn fools. ”
Some fans are now paranoid about posting on Reddit, knowing that the cast of Double Shot at Love is checking to see what fans are saying.
“Lmao, that’s why I’ve always said that we shouldn’t be making assumptions about certain things regarding the cast, because trust me, they do read the comments,” another fan noted. “They may not respond, but they read the comments.”
