At a recent Starrcast press conference before his first match after coming out of retirement, two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair made an unexpected revelation.
The 73-year-old hasn’t been active in over a decade. On July 31 in Nashville, Tennessee, Flair will compete in his final Jim Crockett Promotions match. Although the contestants have not yet been determined, Flair’s previous match indicated that he was interested in bleeding.
The Nature Boy thanked his family for supporting his decision to come out of retirement during the most recent press conference. He continued by saying he didn’t want his supporters to believe that this was the last time they would see him compete:
“Thank you so much from my entire family, everyone. Everyone has been wonderful, I wanted to do this, and I’ve worked hard to get in shape. However, I don’t want anyone to think for a second that this will be my final match. However, I’m going to enter that ring and leave it. (from 25:55 to 26:14)

The promotion hаd to chаnge the locаtion becаuse of the controversy surrounding The Nаture Boy’s finаl mаtch аnnouncement. With а lаrger аudience thаn before, the mаtch will now be held аt Nаshville Municipаl Auditorium.
