Prior to the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, the ratings for the AEW Dynamite go-home edition have been made public. Following a drop in viewers the previous week, the Wednesday night flagship increased again, bringing in 878k viewers as opposed to 761k. The crucial demo rating increased from 0.28 to 0.34 as well.
Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi faced off against Chris Jericho and Lance Archer in the main event of AEW Dynamite.
